A twofold problem
The American political system is irremediably broken, but the duopoly will never admit it, because the duopoly is the problem.
The duopoly- the two party lockdown on electoral politics, likes it that way. Both political parties want it that way because the two parties together enable the militarized fascist corporate state. They have created the status quo.
All political energy is devoted to supporting one or the other party- or no party at all. But not a third party, O no, NEVER a third party. A third party would disturb the predictable good cop, bad cop arrangement.
No matter what party is in power, it supports the militarized fascist corporate state that is Zionist to the last breath, and which always supports the War Machine, aka the deep state.
The deep state is dedicated to perpetuating itself, no matter what. It won’t let 25 years of Terror Wars get in the way; it won’t let a live-streamed genocide get in the way, even if the public is completely revolted by it. The deep state in fact loves violence, and violence is its very identity.
The duopoly is the essence of the deep state, because the duopoly is completely against change to the status quo. The duopoly and deep state are the result of predatory capitalism and rabid Christian nationalism as core American qualities. Support for Israel is the super ideological glue that holds it together so brilliantly. The Red Scare did so previously, and of course Islamophobia is at the center of support for a psychotic Israel.
The point not to miss is that the liberal will never reform the Democrat Party to abjure the deep state. This is not possible. Elite Democrats are 100% dedicated to corporatism, militarism and Zionism. Just like all elite Republicans.
When the Democrat castigates a third party devoted to progressive policies, like the Green Party, as a spoiler party, he or she does so on the basis that nothing is more important than defeating fascist Republicans. This is the see-saw game that defines American political thinking: there are only two parties, and only one party can win. The vote that would go to a real progressive platform that can’t win because it is forcibly suppressed thus undermines a faux liberal platform that can win. This rhetoric is as common as apple pie. And so real progressive politics ALWAYS loses.
Now, what is the outcome to all this. Fascism. Always more and more fascism. There is no real debate in politics or media about the corporate state for the simple reason that the corporate state controls all politics and media. This is as true of the US as it was of the Third Reich.
The feckless voter is left with no choice but either not vote, or vote for one of two fascist parties. Either way, the duopoly and deep state win.
